Proposed Solution Our first goal is verification of travel agents - where verification is concerned , suppose admin has to verify 100 travel agents a day , is it feasible to physically check all the details of that travel agent ? Maybe for 100 a day it is ? But what if the number of travel agents registering on a particular day goes upto 1000 a day , thats why we have come up with a intelligent algorithm of image processing that only wants travel agent to upload his/her driving licence image and Pan card image and with the help of Image Processing we extract the data from it , unless agent himself morphs the image , there is no chance of fraud here . Then that details are matched up with a open government website and if there is some descrepency admin can look into it and manually take a decision for that few cases . Still i think we can reduce the admin’s work by a great factor and decrease chances of fraud at same time .
Second goal of Bon Voyage is giving customer the best price possible in the market for that particular requirement . For that we have a bidding feature in our portal . Customer has to select the packages he likes . Travel agents of that packages can cut off their margin and bid a lower price to lure customer to him and be at the top of the list . For this deal customer gets the best price for his requirement in the market at the end .
Our Third goal is to give the best advice to customer as a care taker, when user is posting a requirement , we with a help of a prediction api that takes into account detailed weather conditions, facilities, geography, traffic and prices to assess the conditions for vacations, sports and activities in places user is interested in at that particular time. This prediction technique grades the place into 5 factors - excellent to visit , very good , good , fair , and not recommended . And as an advice if it is showing not recommended we highly recommend you to NOT go there at that time everything would be closed .
Fourth goal of Bon Voyage is to earn trust of customer where money is concerned . In India , a lot of frauds occur where travel agent often does not make the appropiate arrangements as they say or the worst case you even wont find them again when you come back from trip to fight with them . Again Bon Voyage comes handy in that case , people dont pay to agent , they will pay to us and we transfer only that sufficient amount that is required to make arrangements and the margin of agent is not yet provided to him untill and unless customer returns from his trip and does not file a report against agent . You might think that we are too harsh on agents . But its not like that , we care for our agents as much as we care about our customers. Any customer that claims to have being a victim of fraud needs to generate valid proofs to us , that goes under series of admin checks and then only customer is refunded his money . To be frank , this has a very chance of happening , because not all agents are fraud .
