Inspiration - The inspiration behind BonEoc struck us at the intersection of technology and mental health advocacy. Witnessing the pervasive stigma surrounding mental health, we recognized the need for a universally accessible resource that empowers individuals with accurate information. Our personal experiences and a shared passion for mental health awareness fueled our commitment to create BonEoc.

What it does - The user will enter text relevant to themselves regarding concerns for their mental health and with our similarity algorithms given from conformadb, we were able to piece the information to create a result that will inform and answer the user's question. It is meant to be used as a database that is accessible globally to given verified and credited advice and information in regards to the topic of mental health.

How we built it -

Frontend: In developing the front end, we prioritized user-friendliness. Leveraging modern web technologies, we crafted an intuitive interface that seamlessly guides users through the vast landscape of mental health knowledge. The design prioritizes accessibility, ensuring that BonEoc is welcoming to users of all backgrounds.

Backend: The backend of BonEoc is the engine driving our vision. We integrated secure data repositories and employed algorithms to curate content from accredited papers. Our backend infrastructure ensures that users receive accurate and up-to-date information on mental health conditions, treatments, and related topics.

Challenges we ran into - Building BonEoc was not without its challenges. From navigating the intricacies of mental health literature to addressing technical complexities, we encountered hurdles at every step with our main issues lying in the debugging process as we have spent the most time on that aspect.

Accomplishments that we're proud of - We are proud that we were able to get past and overcome the problems we faced with the errors in the debugging process so that the code ran smoothly and without issue.

What we learned - Embarking on this journey taught us the transformative power of technology in addressing societal challenges. We delved into the complexities of mental health research, understanding the importance of reliable information. The project became a learning canvas, where we honed our skills in frontend and backend development, data curation, and user experience design.
