💞 About the Project: Bonded – GetLoved
Bonded – GetLoved is a private couple connection application designed to help users build, nurture, and cherish meaningful relationships. More than just a chat app, it creates a dedicated emotional space for two people to bond, communicate, and grow together—with an added layer of social sharing and relationship insights.
🌱 Inspiration
The inspiration for Bonded came from a simple yet powerful idea:
“What if relationships had their own private digital world—intimate, emotional, and meaningful?”
In a time when most platforms focus on social broadcasting, we wanted to create something more personal and relationship-centric. A place where couples could connect privately, reflect on their journey, and feel supported by a like-minded community.
🧠What We Learned
- Building secure and private one-to-one relationship models using unique bonding logic.
- Crafting meaningful user onboarding experiences through profile personalization.
- Implementing real-time chat features with delivery/read status and mood sharing.
- Designing for both intimacy and community, striking a balance between private space and public sharing.
- Handling data privacy and relationship security with care and intention.

🚧 Challenges We Faced
- Designing a bonding system that feels natural and exclusive, without being intrusive.
- Managing real-time data sync and message delivery in a private, secure way.
- Balancing public sharing (social feed) with deeply private spaces (bond chat).
- Creating a UX that appeals to couples across different relationship stages.
- Handling edge cases like bond breakups, re-bonding, or blocked users gracefully.
❤️ Final Thoughts
Bonded – GetLoved isn’t just an app—it’s a companion to your relationship journey. From the first bond to daily chats and emotional check-ins, Bonded aims to keep love intentional, present, and joyful. In a noisy digital world, we built a quiet space just for love.
