Bon Appetit

Inspiration

We were inspired by not knowing what we wanted ot eat when we had an appetite, and then loosing it when nothing sounded appealing. This website gives specific recipies to certain cravings or needs.

What it does

Our project filters recipes from an API to give the user a selection a suitable recipes to their preference(s).

How we built it

We built it by researching to find a template that embodies an API into a chatbot in order to program it, we then found that API with the recipies and ingredients. Then we fine tuned and designed it to our liking.

Challenges we ran into

The chatbot not cooperating with our commands, formatting errors with images and text, getting tired and discouraged, finding a suitable and free API.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud of figuring out how to use a chatbot because it is unfamiliar to us and those around us. On top of that, we programmed it using an API.

What we learned

We learned how to use a chatbot, collaborate with a teammate, and have stamina.

What's next for Bon Appetit

Possibly more countries, components, filters, and design upgrades.
