BOLT Workflow Planner is a small proof of concept built around planning before implementation. It takes one task plus the action that would be risky to automate, then produces a simple five-step workflow with an explicit human-approval boundary. I intentionally kept the project dependency-free and afternoon-sized: one HTML and JavaScript page, one core interaction, and a build plan that defines the user, job to be done, must-haves, exclusions, and definition of done. The main challenge was avoiding scope creep from the larger BOLT orchestration concept. The key learning is that a good AI build plan is also a control plan: deciding what must not happen automatically can simplify the architecture before agent code is written. The next step is to export the plan as a machine-readable policy and connect it to a real agent runtime.
