✝️ Rooted in Christ – Project Story 🌟 Inspiration As believers, we saw a growing need for a safe, biblically grounded digital space where Christians could grow, ask questions, test teachings, and share personal testimonies without fear of judgment or false doctrine. Too many online platforms allow New Age beliefs and misinformation to mix with biblical truth.
We asked:
What if there was a digital sanctuary built entirely on the unchanging Word of God — where everything is tested by Scripture?
That vision became Rooted in Christ.
✨ What it does Rooted in Christ is a faith-centered web app that empowers believers to grow spiritually and stay rooted in truth. It features:
🧠 Bible Chatbot – Users can ask any question and receive answers based only on the KJV and NIV Bibles.
🙌 Testimony Board – A space where Christians can post and read real-life testimonies of God’s work in their lives.
🔍 Scripture Check – Users can enter a quote, teaching, or idea and the app will check whether it aligns with the Bible using AI + verse references.
🎥 Multimedia Hub – Features curated Christian videos, animations, and Bible-based learning content to enhance understanding.
🌱 Spiritual Growth Tracker – A system that guides users from spiritual "babies" to maturity in Christ through structured steps and guidance.
📖 Christian Practices Guide – Explains essential practices like fasting, prayer, and baptism with biblical references and how believers can engage in them today.
Every feature is designed to uphold truth, strengthen believers, and reject compromise.
🛠️ How we built it We built the application using Bolt.new, a powerful no-code platform that lets us build AI-powered apps with minimal coding. Our process included:
Creating a multi-page UI layout, with tabs for Chatbot, Testimonies, Scripture Check, Multimedia, Spiritual Growth, and Christian Practices.
Adding GPT blocks in Bolt and customizing them with strict prompts that allow only KJV/NIV responses.
Using forms and data tables for storing and displaying testimonies.
Building a Scripture Checker by using GPT logic to fact-check messages, quotes, or teachings against Scripture.
Embedding or linking Christian multimedia content (animations, videos, sermons).
Designing spiritual growth steps and content based on biblical maturity.
🚧 Challenges we ran into Ensuring scriptural purity: We had to carefully word each GPT prompt to avoid AI hallucinations and personal interpretations.
Creating structure for growth: Mapping spiritual maturity into a usable digital format took time and testing.
Limiting sources: Since Bolt doesn’t allow advanced API integration, we relied on prompt engineering to keep answers scripturally grounded.
Curating safe media: Finding and embedding only sound doctrine-based videos required time and spiritual discernment.

Built a Scripture-checker that verifies any message or belief with chapter and verse.
Developed a spiritual growth journey system to help users mature in faith.
Kept the app fully aligned with Scripture, rejecting false doctrines and cultural compromise.
