What it does
Our poker bot handles non-ideal hands passively, and when odds are in its favor will be willing to increase the bets. Based on the pre-flop hand, it makes an intelligent decision based on a multitude of factors to either increase bets based on probability or fold to manage risk.
How we built it
Our strategy was inspired by testing poker play-styles in real time until finding a balanced play style that outperformed.
Challenges we ran into
One roadblock that we overcame was finding a collaborative means of code distribution wherein, all parties could share their contributions concurrently.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Leveraging our understanding of Eval7 to assess the position's success probability.
What we learned
We learned how to collaborate on coding projects and applying our knowledge to real solutions.
