Preliminary design of the Exco page.
Inspiration
Multiple anxiety attacks over not being able to cope with hall commitments and the struggles many exco members and members in general face with miscommunication and decreased productivity inspired us to create this web application.
What it does
- Dashboard of information such as attendance, days to the main event, Players cut etc.
- Provides ability for exco members to key in attendance and cut players
- Ability for members to view attendances, training times and players cut
How we built it
- We used the following languages: Vue.js, Vuetify, Typescript
- Website is hosted on Firebase
Challenges we ran into
- List and checkbox processing
- Stacking the cards in the desired order
- Lack of sleep
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Getting the prototype running in a short time despite using a new framework.
What we learned
Vue.js framework vuetify material UI framework, Typescript.
What's next for CCA manager
- Addition of new features such as Hall Point counter and Demerit point counting system
- Expansion into other sectors of hall life such as meals and facilities booking
- Reporting system for inaccuracies
- Notifications using telegram
