A Discord bot that is full of memes

Inspiration

All the team members are on Discord and there are many bots on Discord, so we wanted to make our own

What it does

It is pure meme. If you say certain things, the bot will respond. For example, if you say "it's cold", it will respond with "'wear a hat that covers your ears' - Bonnie"

How I built it

We used GitHub, the Discord developer portal, and JavaScript. Half our team also used GitKraken (a GUI for git)

Challenges I ran into

Not everyone in the group has used GitHub before so making sure everyone knows how to use it was a challenge, as well as we had issues where the bot went into an infinite loop so figuring out what went wrong and how to fix it was an issue we ran into

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

This is everyone in the team's first time creating a Discord bot

What I learned

It is a lot more simple than I thought to get started making a Discord bot.

What's next for BogBot

Bog bot will continue to be a bot available to use on my Discord server. In addition, we may add new commands as certain memes get popular
