Inspiration
Starting or working on a project solo can be intimidating for many. Having a partner to pair program with always makes life easier; two brains are better than one. We're here to do that for you.
What it does
Boardwalk allows you to find a partner to work on a project with by allowing you to search through our Boards page, where existing projects are listed for people to join.
How we built it
Next.js, TailwindCSS, TypeScript, Supabase
Challenges we ran into
Supabase's sign in was challenging to deal with, as it wouldn't work sometimes. To tackle this challenge though, we switched to and integrated Clerk for authentication.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Building a project like this is tough with such a time constraint, and with two members fresh off being sick it was a challenging journey. But, we're proud that we were able to at least submit an idea that we all fully believe in :)
What we learned
We learned more about using React and TailwindCSS for the frontend, Supabase for the database and backend, and Clerk for authentication. We also learned to write better project descriptions and build a hopefully nice-looking slide pitch deck!
