Inspiration

The inspiration to build this project was seeing the lack of good online drawing and whiteboard apps with limited features and less user friendly technologies.

What it does

It is an open source online free whiteboard app with special background grids that make it pop out from rest of the apps. It also includes various features like to download the whiteboard, use custom whiteboards with your friends and also a big general whiteboard for all users. Also you can videochat with your friends side by side.

How we built it

We built it with basic HTML, CSS and JS languages. Also we used react framework and used heroku and netlify for deployment.

Challenges we ran into

The biggest of all the challenges we ran into was hosting the app. But we worked as a team and took some help from our fellow members in the open source and finally could submit our project.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud to be participating in this hackathon before our college even started and also the experience that we learned from open source contribution and all the tools and technologies we could learn within the framework of this hackathon

What we learned

We learned various technical stuff like a lot about JS, nodejs, json files. But the biggest learning was on how to communicate and reach out to the open source community and contribute.
