Inspiration

The Board Chess Club imagines a chess experience where users from around the globe can collectively wager on a single game or tournament. The votes would be tallied every 10 mins to bring in the move in the game. Users have access to different tiers of game play. If players have staked Near present in their wallet - they enjoy the ability to talley the votes of game.

The game status, move history and collected wagers would be escrowed within it and rewarded to the winners at the end of the game!

How we built it

Rust WebASM full front and backend. We are pretty passionate about the future of rust in smart contracts and have used this repository as a great learning tool to integrate with the NEAR blockchain.

We combined a profile picture generator, smart contract, and frontend to create a unique chess experience.
