Inspiration## Inspiration
We wanted to create a practical solution for monitoring battery health and improving battery safety. Battery packs can face issues such as voltage imbalance, overheating, and abnormal operating conditions, which can affect performance and reliability.
What we built
BMS Nexus is a Battery Management System dashboard designed to monitor an 8S battery pack. It provides battery status, cell-level information, voltage, current, temperature, state of charge, and safety alerts in one interface.
How we built it
We built an interactive web-based dashboard with real-time-style battery telemetry, cell monitoring, safety condition simulations, and battery balancing visualization.
Challenges
One of our main challenges was presenting complex battery information in a simple and understandable interface. We also worked on making the monitoring and safety indicators clear for different battery conditions.
What we learned
Through this project, we learned more about battery management systems, battery safety, monitoring concepts, and building an interactive technical dashboard.
