Inspiration
BMI value is nowadays considered a benchmark for deciding if a person is overweight. It is very important to know the status of one’s weight because a lot of other medical conditions have a relation with obesity. A weighing machine can tell us our weight — but we need BMI value to put the weight in the right category.
What it does
Our app gets the data from the user and displays their BMI
How we built it
We built it using the FLUTTER framework and DART language. IDE: ANDROID STUDIO
Challenges we ran into
We had a tough time in designing the functionality of the app since we are new to app development. We found that a bit adverse. But with Conviction and determination, we managed to complete this beautiful application.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Though we are new to App Development we have made our level best to create an app with functionality.
What we learned
We learned about new packages of flutter that we were unaware of. We also learned how to make UI better and soothing for the users.
What's next for BMI-Calculator
Our next part is to develop a beautiful User Interface with a lot more additional features.
