Inspiration
We understand the critical importance of testing propositions before entering the competitive real-world market. With a staggering $390 billion market for learning and development, it's crucial to avoid the pitfalls of failed investments. Too often, business executives rely solely on academic understanding to execute ideas, leading to propositions that fall short of market expectations. Our innovative platform offers a virtual world for executives to safely test and refine their ideas, ensuring they're market-ready and poised for success. Don't gamble with your propositions – test them in our virtual environment to secure a competitive advantage in the real world.
What it does
Participants are put into teams and are assigned as the new board members for one of the virtual banks (incumbent, or neo bank) and of the fictional city. Each bank has a marketing budget of 20M Eur to create new propositions for two virtual cities. Each team will be given a pre-read of their company performance over the last 5 years as well as details on the demographics of both cities. They will make budgeting decisions on marketing, brand, GTM, messaging, sales to see if they have attained the most profitable customer segment, which product portfolio has the highest overall customer lifetime value, overall customer volume and also the most operationally effective unit. Each team must assemble their teams to best make a set of decisions on best propositions, target customers and price and enter them into a simulator where AI algorithms would simulate yearly take up and trading activities. The propositions are measured against the demographic characteristics of each city and the history of the bank to determine a ranking score. The platform will be configurable to produce yearly outputs so that delegates can see whether their commercial strategy is working over these year slots and to make further changes if necessary. At the end of each submission the teams will get a score for their proposition as well as a report on their performance.
How we built it:
Drawing on historical demographic data with the combined expertise of retail bankers, and our in-house AI skills, we responded to a compelling need from a prominent London-based training institution. Their goal was to enhance the relevance of executive training for bankers in the aftermath of digital transformation. Our solution involved leveraging machine learning tools, specifically decision trees, and harnessing the power of Generative AI for a distinctive proposition comparison tool. The comparison datasets were curated from the valuable insights of our commercial team, drawing on their prior experience in crafting propositions for a Tier One bank
