We were inspired by the popular messaging boards that currently populate the internet, and their very open discussion that allow people to understand many different perspectives on certain topics which ultimately adds to everyone's understanding of the world around us.

We initially intended on having the website split into many different categories where posts would be organized into certain categories such as art, animation, or sports. Within these categories the most recent posts would appear at the very top of the page, and people could comment on them to contribute to the discussion.

We built it using html, css, and js.

We ran into many challenges, notably the fact that we have never used any web development languages before. Everything was completely new to us and we tried to quickly pick up as many skills as possible in order to make some progress. This is clearly reflected in our final product, as it is no where near complete and barely resembles a messaging service, let alone a messaging board.

We are proud of everything, as we managed to learn a portion of html, css, and js within a limited amount of time and develop something, despite the fact that it is very simple and far from complete.

We ultimately learned a lot, ranging from the basics of html, to how to use bootstrap, to css and styling webpages, and the basic working of js.

From here, we intend on improving our understanding of web development to see if we can ultimately develop a messaging board. We will have to further our understanding of many different aspects of programming, including PHP or another alternative language, and understand that this will be quite difficult, however, we are happy with what we have done and intend on pushing forward.
