Farmers in suffers from the problem of providing water suitable for irrigation and providing fodder and fertilizers on farms in addition to the high costs of treated water due to the high prices of treatment in treatment plants for water, as well as the high consumption cost of an electricity bill, in addition to the large loss of water after treatment by traditional methods and high transportation costs Water from one place to another place (water transportation ) , As the farmers category is the most affected class because the agricultural lands are in decline due to the difficult economic conditions they live in, in addition to the lack of support for this group in order to develop their work due to the harsh conditions the world is going through especially COVID19 Crisis . Unfortunately, all of these things have driven a large part of farmers to leave their profession and convert these agricultural lands into lands not suitable for agriculture by offering them for sale or building on them in order to invest in projects other than agriculture, and therefore these issues will return to the Gaza Strip peoples with great harm in terms of increasing of poverty and lack in food security due to increases in the prices of agricultural products and clean water resources. So obtaining clean water is a major challenge for farmers who suffers from bad life with their families today is due to COVID-19,And its economic impact on them to find a cheap, safe and feasible solutions to solve their problems.

Blue Filter is working to treat the water from pollutants (Salinity, Nitrates, and chloride) by decreasing the percent of (salinity from 100 % to 50 %, Nitrate from 100% to 2 % and chloride from 100 % to 40 %) for farmers initially in ways that are environmentally friendly, new technology of treatment and free from any chemical additions or the use of electricity as well as economic way in treatment. These above pollutants elements are considered the most harmful to farmers, as they increased after the Corona crisis due to the acute shortage of capabilities needed to address these resources. Also, the high prices of fuel and electricity in the Gaza Strip has a fundamental role in exacerbating these problems, which are considered very harmful to plants, animals and people, as Nitrates alone in some cities reached 800 milligrams per liter, and this percentage is very frightening because the global standard should not exceed 10 milligrams per liter as (WHO). Blue Filter will work on these challenges through because it is easy to implement with farmers, Blue filter will help farmers to provide a clean water suitable for irrigation within the natural treatment that works on, As advantage here the same amount of water is preserved without any waste in the water like traditional filter which waste more than 50% of total amount after treatment , the treatment is carried out in the same place in the farm without the need for transportation costs, and one of the most important features in the treatment process for the Blue Filter is that there are by-products that are produced during water treatment process which are Fodder and fertilizers that are used and free from any chemical effect, Blue Filter will improve the economic situation of farmers by training them in the process of water treatment, the production of fodder, fertilizer and recycling process during treatment as they will be able to provide several different products from the Blue Filter as fertilizers and agricultural feed in addition to animal production within each Farms, and that is through raising animals on productive as additional products “bio products” without using antibiotics like chickens. Therefore, work continuity is achieved and regular financial income is achieved for farmers ’families. Therefore, the support that will be obtained will help Blue filter in producing a number of agricultural treatment filters for a large numbers of farmers by providing raw materials and manufacturing filters, in addition to purchasing equipment and devices to develop and install filters. Therefore, the tangible results that the Blue Filter will achieve for farmers:

And in order to achieve the goals of the blue filter with subscribers during and after the four months Blue filter will produce a large number of blue filter products (Growth strategy plan by Blue filter revenues and fundraising) by purchasing anew raw materials for processing and production of filters. Also, several meetings and workshops will be held with beneficiaries farmers who will implement the blue filter in their farms by studying the required need for daily water, and put next selected farmers in the next step after end of fund period,blue filter will Determine the number and quality of filters for each farmer and draw up the implementation and follow-up plan, in order to continue providing services and ensure the continuity of the project with each farmer by achieving the principle of sustainability The follow-up will be through field visits, feedback from farmers by blue filter teams to know more about their opinions on Blue filter what did with them before and after working period, if there any development of blue filter products needed to add it, and how to work with next farmers after end of first stage of the Emergency fund.
