Blossom Math Town is a family entertainment app for early math on TV. A child chooses one of ten short adventures from a colorful town, meets a friendly monster teacher, reads a short lesson, and plays five rounds with a directional remote. Activities cover counting, making ten, addition, comparing groups, shapes, subtraction, number order, patterns, sorting, and length comparison. A wrong answer invites another try; a correct answer gives a short explanation. Back returns to town, and a completed game can be replayed.
The Vega OS edition is a native React Native for Vega app. It has large TV controls, a visible gold focus outline, Select and Back support, and local artwork. Math checks and answers are deterministic. It has no account, ads, analytics, or backend. The browser and Android editions also contain narrated lessons; the Vega edition currently uses on-screen text.
I built the TV edition with Vega Developer Tools 0.24 and tested it in the Ubuntu Vega Virtual Device. The demo video captures that simulator while navigating games with the remote, retrying an answer, and moving through practice. Source, art, the MIT license, and exact simulator build and run instructions are in the public repository: https://github.com/agammann/blossom-math-town/blob/main/vega/README.md
