Inspiration

When brainstorming this project, we wondered what is one of the most tedious and discouraging aspects of visiting a doctor. Our thought: the questionnaire. Our Question: how can we help circumnavigate this reuse of simple questions that might lead to a simple solution, such as: "You're not drinking enough water" or "You broke your ankle"? We decided the best way we could save the patient AND the doctor time was to create a system that could help answer these questions ahead of time. Introducing: Blossom Chat Box

What it does

After logging into the app using your Axxess credentials, you will be prompted by our Blossom AI with a series of general health questions. After you input your responses, they will be saved as a text file to our database. This will then be shared with your current physician, who will easily diagnose you and give you any recommended aid on the fly. This allows human-to-human interaction to occur while reducing the time per patient visit.

How we built it

We used Vue.js as our front-end framework for our tech stack while using tailwind.css libraries to help style our UI. We used MySQL, .netcore, and entity framework core for our backend.

Challenges we ran into

One of our greatest challenges was finding a free, effective API to prompt Google Gemini. Integrating the backend server with the front end. Integrating the authentification. Learning .netcore/c#.
