Inspiration
With years of childhood memories spending endless hours in Minecraft, we settled out to enable today's player generation to make their first trading experiences in a known environment and thus secure Bloomberg's future.
What it does
We provide a unique and simple user interface that allows you to easily learn to trade. With a sophisticated matching algorithm we arrange trading processes so smooth that you fall in love with it.
How we built it
We developed a custom Minecraft Server plugin to communicate with an AWS Lambda function. For the database, we choose DynamoDB. The plugin as well as the Lambda function are written in Python. Thus, our solution is not only super efficient but also scalable as well as re-usable for other scenarios.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Creating a fully functional multi-user online exchange where various Items can be traded among players.

What's next for Bloomberg x MC Exchange
Implement even more advanced trading options like setting stop losses, limit orders, or market buys. If Bloomberg decides to use our solution we will provide them great marketing & cross-selling potentials for other products.
