We’re a group trying to break our own fear cycle. We came up with an app idea that could help us push forward and become our real selves. We realized we needed to make the idea clear first and stay focused on the tasks. Our biggest challenges were distractions… and snacks. Whenever things didn’t go as planned, we ended up eating instead of working :D

PROBLEM: People want to make videos and express themselves, but they’re scared of what others will think, so they keep watching instead of creating. There’s no environment to practice posting that helps to build confidence, while providing a feeling of safety and vulnerability.

SOLUTION: The app gives you one a step to tackle your fear of creating each day. You follow the guidelines and record a short video. After you upload, you join the daily contest where people vote for the video that did the task the most authentic and creative way. You level up by beating your fears, earn Bloopcoins for each time you upload. The top 10 performers of the day get 10-100 Bloopcoins as rewards they can use to enter bigger events or get special partner rewards.

WHY IT COULD GROW INTO A VALUABLE OR PROFITABLE STARTUP? We can achieve big scale, because we’re solving a simple and real problem — people want a safe place to grow the muscle of creativity thought action. If we give them daily tasks, fun contests and a supportive community, they’ll keep coming back, especially as they see positive personal changes in their life, once more and more fears are confronted. When we achieve scale with daily users,- 100000+ people using the platform every day,- partnerships and events will attract private companies and our self sufficiency will flourish.
