Inspiration
The inspiration for Bloom stemmed from the desire to redefine the way users interact with and care for their plants. The goal was to create an innovative application that seamlessly merges the physical and digital realms, enhancing the indoor gardening experience through advanced plant modeling.
What it does
Bloom serves as the digital twin of real-life plants, offering users a comprehensive and interactive platform for plant care. The application utilizes a Tamagochi-based game to visualize plants in the physical world and provides real-time monitoring of environmental factors. Users receive personalized care recommendations, connect with a community of plant enthusiasts, and access educational content on plant biology and horticulture.
How we built it
We built Bloom using a combination of IoT technologies, advanced plant modeling techniques, and a user-friendly interface. The application integrates with smart sensors to gather real-time data on light exposure, soil moisture, air humidity, and temperature. The back end utilizes MQTT for communication between the physical and digital aspects of the application.
Challenges we ran into
