Inspiration
India faces huge shortage of blood donation, urgent blood need and this lead to many serious death while accident, pregnancy, cancer, etc to solve & organize this sector this is the one stop solution!
What it does
It is a perfect portal where a person , hospital , NGOs, Donor are present and a perfect supply chain is there between each of them through this app (just like we book a cab in uber using map) and many more important stuff related to blood donation, blood donor, news, a platform to share and chat for requirement all over India
How we built it
Here, we built it using different API, we have made a registration page where users can register using their email and password, they will give their data and their address, we will fetch their latitude and longitude using our geolocation api, and show it in maps as a pointer , person in need of blood can see density of user around them, we have protected the donor's credentials by allowing only hospitals to see through the database, with search feature for the hospital for all the database stored in firebase through registration, now we also have a state-wise group chat where we can chat with all the NGO's and person at once, We are also making a API to fetch the data of all the NGO's to show it in our website where we can search all the data of the ngo, we also have a news page where we have used news api
Challenges we ran into
managing different database and API functionalities
Accomplishments that we're proud of
we have successfuly created a website where every thing is upto the mark and we can say that it is ready to be scalable and could be used further by the government for better cause.
What we learned
we learned fetching data and using different api's in our website and managing different databases at a time
