Inspiration Thalassemia patients in India experience life-threatening delays in securing compatible blood donors and face fragmented support networks. The motivation behind this project is to use technology and AI to bridge these gaps, ensure timely transfusions, and empower patients, families, and donors with smart support tools.
What We Learned / Challenges We explored healthcare system weaknesses, patient frustrations, and limits of existing blood bank coordination. Developing a unified, privacy-first platform demanded a deep understanding of logistics, patient engagement, and compliant data integrations.
How We Built It Leveraging a modern tech stack—React Native, Node.js, and AI/ML models—the platform integrates with national databases (like e-RaktKosh) to provide real-time matching. Predictive analytics boost supply stability, and gamified elements incentivize donors.
