Inspiration
What it does🩸 About the Project: LifeDrop
🚀 Inspiration In emergencies, finding a blood donor can be stressful and time-consuming. I wanted to build something simple, accessible, and mobile-friendly to help people in such urgent moments. The idea of saving lives through technology deeply motivated me to take on this challenge solo.
🛠️ How I Built It I started with basic planning and quickly designed a clean, responsive interface optimized for mobile. I then developed the core features:
Donor Registration
Blood Request Form
Basic User Flows
The stack used was focused on rapid development and clarity, ensuring I could bring the concept to life within the limited time.
📚 What I Learned This project helped me sharpen my front-end and back-end coordination. I also learned the importance of minimal design in emergency-focused apps, and how to prioritize features that matter most to users under stress.
⚠️ Challenges Faced Building both UI and logic as a solo developer under time pressure.
Managing state and form validation without overengineering.
Ensuring mobile responsiveness and accessibility from the start.
