Inspiration
My sister needed urgent blood supply so the idea came up to build an app for blood donation
What it does
Basically, if you want to donate blood you can register donor form and whenever anyone needs that blood group donor they can contact you as our system saves all the details of the donor from the application
How we built it
It is an Android app, I have used java language to make this app
Challenges we ran into
the biggest challenge is to get a dataset
Accomplishments that we're proud of
I have achieved what I wanted to provide to society from this app
What we learned
I personally learnt that you can always give back to society through technology
What's next for Blood bank
The next step would be to reach to as many people who want urgent blood and who want to donate blood for good
