Inspiration

Every content team faces the same challenge: creating content that actually converts. We waste weeks on A/B testing, struggle with localization, and guess at what resonates with different audiences. What if we could predict performance before publishing? What if AI could generate winning variants automatically?

BlokPilot was born from this vision—turning Storyblok into an AI-powered content intelligence platform that forecasts success and optimizes experiences at scale.

What it does

BlokPilot transforms content creation from reactive testing to proactive intelligence:

  • Predictive Content Intelligence: Forecast CTR, engagement, and conversion rates before publishing
  • Content Autopilot: Generate 3 AI variants, run live A/B tests, and deploy winners automatically
  • AI Design System: Generate design tokens and ready-to-use React/Tailwind components
  • Multilingual Localizer: Translate with cultural awareness and quality scoring
  • Brand Identity Kit: Create complete brand kits with SVG logo concepts
  • Storyblok Toolkit: List, edit, and bulk publish stories with one click

How we built it

Frontend: Next.js 15 (App Router), TypeScript, Tailwind v4, Framer Motion animations, Radix UI components

AI Integration: Google Gemini for content generation, scoring, and recommendations

CMS: Storyblok CDN + Management API for content delivery and publishing

Search: Algolia with CDN fallback for content discovery

  • SVG logo generation and visual brand concepts
  • Component code export (React + Tailwind)
  • Cultural adaptation for 9+ locales
  • Performance prediction using embeddings and benchmarks

Challenges we ran into

Dependency Hell: Zod version conflicts between ai and openai packages broke Vercel builds. Fixed with version pinning and --legacy-peer-deps.

AI Prompt Engineering: Getting consistent JSON responses from Gemini required careful prompt structuring and fallback handling.

Real-time Analytics: Simulating believable experiment data that reflects persona/locale selections while maintaining performance.

Storyblok Integration: Managing both preview and management tokens, handling different regions, and creating a seamless editing experience.
