The project was more of a way for me to get to know what a hackathon was like and learn from the process of creating something. The project was the Web Dev Workshop project that I personalized. My goal was to implement a login feature, but unfortunately, I got stuck and time was running, and therefore am submitting without it.
What it does
It allows people to create new posts on the blogging site, delete posts, and view others' posts.
How I built it
I followed the resources provided throughout the Web Dev Workshop and those I found online.
Challenges I ran into
I didn't really know how a webpage was run so I ran into the problem of thinking of the web application as a whole rather than two separate applications that talk to each other.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
I was able to follow and complete the Web Dev Workshop project guidelines, which I was proud of. I am most proud that I was able to learn from this experience, however, and am excited to expand my knowledge of software development.
What I learned
I learned the various frameworks I used in the project and how a web application functioned to present the webpage and the different pages of a website.
What's next for Blogging Site
I definitely want to learn how to implement a login feature with a user-password database, and I hope to implement other features that belong in a blog site as well.
