Blockstack ia a wonderful project. It avoids the monopolies Google and Facebook have. Blockstack provides authentication service like Google and Facebook login but without data hogging. They also provide a storage where users can choose where the data should live. The blockstack storage resides with the user and not a company like Google or Blockstack itself. This means other apps with Blockstack Authentication can use the user data. This reduces the monopolistic practices done by Google and Facebook
