Inspiration
I was inspired by the potential of blockchain technology to facilitate secure and transparent data sharing.
How we built it
To build my project, I first researched various blockchain platforms and settled on Ethereum as the most suitable for my needs. I then designed a smart contract for storing and sharing files and developed a web-based frontend using React. I used IPFS (InterPlanetary File System) to store the files via Pinata API and integrated Metamask to facilitate transactions on the Ethereum network. Then I deployed my smart contract on Mantle as my base layer.
Challenges we ran into
One of the biggest challenge I faced was Designing the front-end. Also deploying on spheron was a bit challenging task. Thanks to the discord mentors for helping me out with the deployment process.
What we learned
During the development of my project, I learned about the IPFS network, Pinata and also how to deploy your smart contract on Mantle.
