BLOCKER

BLOCKER is an easy to use and easy to install software application that defeats illegal robocalls on land lines, smart phones and VOIP phones. While blocking illegal robocalls, it will allow the user to accept legal robocalls such as emergency and political calls. Illegal robocalls are blocked by employing a combination of whitelist, blacklist and query programming techniques. Friendly callers will be contained in a whitelist and will not be interfered with. Calls that users do not want to receive will be contained in a blacklist and will be disconnected. Unfamiliar callers will hear a message (the “query”), recorded by the user, asking the caller to input a specific code in order to continue the call. Illegal robocallers will not be able to respond to the query and will be disconnected. Users can place legal robocallers in the whitelist so they will not be blocked.
