What it does

BlockChat is a chatbot platform that offers the functionality to mint and manage NFTs (non-fungible tokens) through chat.
Users can interact with the chatbot to create, store, and manage their NFTs, providing a seamless and user-friendly experience.
In addition to NFT management, BlockChat enables decentralized file storage using IPFS (InterPlanetary File System), Jackal Protocol, and Hedera.
Users can securely store their files on the decentralized network, ensuring data integrity and reducing reliance on centralized platforms.
This decentralized approach empowers users to have greater control over their files, promoting data privacy and autonomy.
BlockChat's integration of NFT management and decentralized file storage provides a comprehensive solution for users seeking both functionality in a single platform.

How we built it

BlockChat simplifies the process of interacting with cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology. The platform utilizes a variety of cutting-edge technologies, including Voiceflow, Verbwire API, and OpenAI.
By utilizing IPFS, Jackal Protocol, and Hedera, BlockChat enhances the reliability, accessibility, and security of file hosting services.

Challenges we ran into

One major challenge was integrating Metamask with Voiceflow as they cannot run asynchronous functions together, but they found an alternative solution with Verbwire after contacting Voiceflow customer service.
Another challenge was developing the NFT minting feature, which required a lot of back-and-forth communication between the user and the bot, but they were able to create a functional and user-friendly feature.
The team looks forward to tackling new challenges and creating a platform that simplifies the process of interacting with cryptocurrencies and makes it accessible to everyone.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Developed a user-friendly and accessible platform for BlockChat Integrated OpenAI ChatGPT into the platform, proving to be a powerful tool in simplifying the process of interacting with cryptocurrencies
Integrated Verbwire API securely and ensured users could confirm transactions at every stage
Developed a chatbot that makes blockchain technology accessible to everyone
Took a risk in diving into unfamiliar technology and learning new skills, which has paid off in creating a platform that simplifies the process of interacting with cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology
