Blockchain Solutions for West Africa

Land purchase is one of the biggest means to get defrauded in Ghana and other West African countries if not the biggest one. Lands can be sold to multiple people and there's no way for a new buyer to know if the land has been purchased by someone else. With Cardano, we can build a system to compliment if not replace the organization that regulates land ownership. The system would keep track of all transactions and purchases of land and would include a smart contract for the purchase of land so that once land has been bought, there's an immutable record of the purchase and no other person can buy it again.
