Solution is GDPR complaint and can offered to any government or organizations that could heavily save on their cost structure move closer to reduction . Build with secure OPEN Banking API. BCR has working solution for KYC processes for approval of counterparties with OBP>

Emission targets in the world are still more and more challenging and require quick and cost effective solution for all countries in the world with easy options for interaction certified carbon reductions .

Our solution can be used for chemical, power sector , industrial, or even maritime , for delivering carbon neutral cargos.

What it does

It helps organization and governments easily set up and govern emission trading schemes for companies and monitor fulfillment of their emission targets.

How we built it

BCR was built using Vue JS, RSK, Airnode and Ethereum, API3

Challenges we ran into

We wanted to use Qredo to be our custodian for ERC-20 token and manage authorization process using their OBP connections. However we found out Qredo does not support ERC-20 token so we had to make direct connections to API and wallet.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We have manage to successfully replace Emission trading registry and process with blockchain technology while keeping off-chain sensitive data safe. And built bridges between 2 systems using API3. These could help especially countries who do not have sufficient experience or data centers to contribute to reducing global emissions.

We have built KYC approval system that is connected to OPEN Banking API.

What we learned

We learned more about custodians , oracles , Advantage of OBP platform for off-chain data. Life cycle of fungible token and how replacement of carbon registries with blockchain technology is fully possible.

Find Custodian, Offer it to multinational organizations , governments that want to reduce emissions or build their own schemes. Work with custodians . Improve workflow.
