Inspiration
The inspiration for SecurePass came from the need to revolutionize traditional event ticketing systems, making them more secure, transparent, and user-friendly. By integrating RFID technology and blockchain, I aimed to address common challenges in event management.
What it does
SecurePass is a Blockchain RFID-based ticketing system designed to streamline event organization and enhance the overall experience for both organizers and attendees. Users can effortlessly purchase tickets, while event organizers benefit from increased security and transparency in ticket transactions.
How I built it
Despite facing time constraints due to working on other projects, I initiated SecurePass by implementing smart contracts on the XRPL EVM sidechain . Leveraging Solidity, I integrated RFID functionality and carefully designed the system to ensure optimal performance and security.
Challenges I ran into
Starting the project later than planned presented its own set of challenges. Balancing the implementation of RFID technology, blockchain integration, and user-centric features within a limited timeframe required strategic planning and focused effort.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
Despite the time constraints, I successfully laid the groundwork for SecurePass, implementing key functionalities such as event creation, ticket purchasing, and user verification. My pride lies in the foundation I've built for a secure and efficient ticketing system.

Developing SecurePass provided valuable insights into the complexities of integrating RFID and blockchain technologies for event ticketing. I learned to navigate challenges associated with time management and project prioritization.
What's next for SecurePass: Blockchain RFID-based ticketing system
As I move forward, the next steps for SecurePass involve refining and completing the implementation. This includes finalizing RFID integration, adding security measures, conducting extensive testing, and preparing for deployment. The ultimate goal is to offer a reliable and seamless solution for event organizers and attendees alike.
Prototype Focus:
The current implementation serves as a prototype, emphasizing the core functionalities of event registration, ticket purchase, RFID card issuance, and validation. The prototype aims to showcase the potential of a blockchain RFID-based ticketing system and lay the foundation for future enhancements.
Initially, my plan was to create this project for the hackathon. Sadly, I didn't finish it on time. I will work on it and aim to complete it by next week. Backend part is almost 90% completed only frontend left.
