Philanthropy addresses critical global challenges, but the sector has long struggled with a lack of financial transparency and institutional accountability . A massive driving force for charitable giving—for both individuals and corporations—is the ability to save on taxes through charitable deductions. However, when donors contribute significant funds for tax-saving purposes, they demand absolute assurance that their money is genuinely achieving its intended real-world impact, rather than being diverted to administrative overhead or lost to corruption . While blockchain technology introduced immutable, transparent ledgers for tracking digital donations , it suffers from a critical limitation known as the "Oracle Problem" . A blockchain can track a digital asset transfer perfectly, but it cannot inherently verify if the real-world goods (like school supplies or water filters) were actually purchased . We were inspired to bridge this gap. We wanted to build a platform that gives tax-motivated donors undeniable, cryptographically backed, and AI-verified proof that their contributions created tangible, real-world impact.
