Inspiration
We mainly got the idea from playing TETRIS based games, but we wanted a more interactive game play. The inspiration for E.P. came during the first day of the Hackathon and we immediately fell in love.
What it does
It provides the player with addictive game play that really inspires them to keep on pushing for a higher score.
How we built it
We built the game using the open source game engine GODOT and it's built in gscript. All art was made with Krita // Blender. Music was made in Reaper.
Challenges we ran into
There were team members who didn't as motivated than the other which caused tension and delayed development
Accomplishments that we're proud of
All art and music was made by us, and we were actually able to make a working game. Most members spent the full 24 hours working hard and creating something that is enjoyable to play.
What we learned
Developing a project is really hard and a lot more in depth. It was our first times working in a group environment an communication was stale sometimes
What's next for Blockade - Manick Studios
We are looking our eyes towards the Roblox Scene, it seems relaxing and fun
