Inspiration
We enjoy climbing and find that some gyms lack a variety of unique and interesting climbs.
What it does
This platform provides a way to share climbs between route setters all around the world
How we built it
We build a front end for the user to interact with, the user is able to create a climb and browse available climbs to purchase. Climbs are stored on the blockchain.
Challenges we ran into
Setting up the blockchain backend and uploading climbs to the Ethereum network
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Been able to understand the generic flow of blockchain transactions and the ability to build a front end and backend and connect them using XHTTP Requests and a Node JS server.
What we learned
Basics of blockchain transactions MySQL Database
What's next for Block Climbing
Further implement the blockchain marketplace Complete frontend
