What Is It?

Blinking Tiles is a memory challenge game in which colored tiles flash in a sequence, and you must tap them back in the exact same order. Each level adds more tiles, expands the grid, and speeds up the flashes.

How far can you go before your memory gives out?

How to Play

  1. Watch: Tiles light up one at a time in a specific order
  2. Repeat: Tap the tiles in the exact same sequence
  3. Level Up: Pass a round and the next one gets harder
  4. Don’t Miss: One wrong tap = game over instantly

You have 30 seconds per level to complete the sequence. A visible countdown timer keeps the pressure on.

🏆 Daily Challenge

  • A new post with a unique blinking pattern is auto created every day
  • All players receive the exact same sequence every day.
  • Scores go directly to the live leaderboard
  • Compete with other users to climb up the leaderboard

🎮 Practice Mode

  • Unlimited attempts
  • Random pattern every time
  • Scores are not saved to leaderboard
  • Ideal for warming up

Game Mechanics

The game has 15 defined levels and scales infinitely beyond that.

Here’s how difficulty ramps up:

4–8 3×3 (9 tiles) 5 → 9 480ms → 380ms
9–15 4×4 (16 tiles) 9 → 15 360ms → 250ms
16+ 4×4 (16 tiles) 16+ Down to 180ms minimum

Beyond level 15:

  • Sequence length keeps growing (+1 tile per level)
  • Flash speed keeps dropping(−10ms per level, minimum 180ms)
  • There is no ceiling, the game gets challenging as you progress

Scoring System

Score = (tiles × 100) × streak multiplier × level multiplier × daily multiplier

Scoring Factors

Factor Details
Base 100 points per correct tile
Streak ×1.5 after 5 consecutive levels, ×2.0 after 10
Level +10% per level (Level 5 = ×1.5, Level 10 = ×2.0)
Daily Bonus ×1.5 in Daily Challenge mode

High scores compound fast, a Level 10 daily clear with a 10-streak earns 6× the base points.
