Inspiration
We were inspired by trying to help the handicapped people along with decreasing the percentage of people without proper wheelchair.
What it does
It recognizes the eye blinking which navigates the wheelchair.
How I built it
By using Muse headband and analysing the data in Java program.
Challenges I ran into
Including the live stream data from the Muse into our program. Because we couldn't do that, we weren't able to write a program which would analyse that data. That's why we wrote a demo which receives a command (signal) and transform it into a movement (in our case: if you type a word quickly enough, a ball moves to the right, else to the left).
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
The idea, success in connecting Muse with a computer and the presentation.
What I learned
The only stupid question is the one that is never asked.
What's next for Blink wheelchair
Monitoring the wheelchair just with brainwaves (without blinking).
