BlindBeats was inspired by the need to create an inclusive music quiz game for visually impaired individuals, transforming a visual-centric experience into an auditory-first one using AI to bridge accessibility gaps.

BlindBeats is an AI-powered, accessible music quiz game where users test their music knowledge through voice commands and audio feedback. It offers various challenges like song and artist identification, making music trivia enjoyable and educational for all.

How we built it

BlindBeats was built with a robust backend for audio processing and music metadata, an AI-powered NLU module for voice command interpretation, and seamless integration with Bolt.new for real-time interaction. Agile methodologies guided development, ensuring accessibility and scalability.

Challenges we ran into

Challenges included achieving accurate and responsive voice recognition across diverse speaking styles, optimizing audio processing for quick identification, and managing asynchronous API calls with Bolt.new. Balancing AI complexity with intuitive audio feedback for all users was also key.
