Inspiration
Discord is a popular platform and it is so cool to build cool stuff such as bots in it. I was so curious to learn how to make my own Discord bot.
What it does
- Respond when it is tagged in a channel with a friendly, informational message.
- Reply to messages containing the words hi, hey, hello, or sup with a sample message.
- Respond to a Discord slash command called /member-count with the number of members in the guild.
How I built it
I attended the live stream session for building a Discord bot using Autocode. Also, I read the Autocode docs. By following up on the steps for doing so, I managed to build a bot.
Challenges I ran into
At first, I did not know what resources mean in Autocode and it made to stuck at some point.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
I managed to build the Discord bot and integrated it on my Discord server.
