Inspiration

I've always been passionate about creating digital experiences that reflect my personality and growth. My love for stars inspired the design — I see them as symbols of light, guidance, and dreams. For me, stars are one of the most beautiful things God has ever made — they encapsulate so much, from their stunning beauty to their incredible scientific potential. I wanted my portfolio to not only showcase my skills, but also reflect who I am and where I'm headed — combining creativity, curiosity, frontend craft, and a growing passion for backend development and beyond.

What it does

The portfolio highlights my journey (my story, my monogatari) as a developer, including the technologies I use, projects I've worked on, and the growth path I'm on as a Master's student in Software Engineering. It’s also a space where I plan to continue sharing more about my backend development and AI integration skills as I learn and evolve.

How we built it

I built this portfolio using React for the core framework, Tailwind CSS for utility-first styling, SCSS for advanced custom styling, Zod for form validation, Framer Motion for smooth animations, and Lucide React for sleek icons. I also explored Radix UI and Styled components to build accessible, maintainable, and beautiful UI components.

Challenges we ran into

  • Balancing design creativity with responsiveness across devices.
  • Consistently integrate multiple styling approaches such as SCSS and Tailwind.
  • Managing time effectively was a big challenge. My Master's program takes up a lot of my time and energy, leaving me little time to concentrate on building this portfolio.
  • Choosing and implementing the right tools for an accessible and beautiful UI.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

  • Designed and developed a fully responsive and personalized portfolio from scratch.
  • Integrated multiple advanced UI libraries like Radix UI and Framer Motion.
  • Learned and implemented validation using Zod — a great step forward in handling forms efficiently.

What we learned

  • How to blend and structure different styling solutions like Tailwind, SCSS, and Styled-components.
  • The impact of animations using Framer Motion to enhance UX.
  • Building accessible and interactive UI components with Radix UI.
  • How to handle form validation efficiently using Zod, making user input safer and more reliable.
  • The importance of consistency and progressive learning.

What's next for blessing-tutka

  • I want to integrate APIs from my backend systems to showcase full-stack capabilities.
  • I'm currently learning a wide range of tools and concepts that will empower my software engineering skills, including Prolog, ANTLR, design patterns, and many others — all of which are shaping me into a more skillful software engineer.
  • I plan to explore and implement AI-based features, as the world is increasingly evolving with AI technologies.
