Inspiration

Personal photos are everywhere: shared in chats, uploaded to cloud drives, and tossed into random apps without much thought. The problem is, they often contain sensitive details like license plates, ID cards, or addresses that people didn’t mean to leak. Bleep was born from that everyday slip—an app that protects your images before they slip out of your control.

What it does

• Detects license plates, ID numbers, and personal identifiers.
• Redacts the sensitive regions while preserving the rest of the image.
• Keeps originals safe while saving redacted versions separately.

What's next for Bleep

• Expand detection beyond license plates and IDs (e.g., faces, documents).
• Add user controls to customize what gets redacted.
• Explore on-device model inference for stronger privacy and offline use.
