Blate and Pall

Inspiration

Being a team of Issac Newton gravitational enthusiasts, we decided it was only natural to find a way to break physics.

What it does

A platforms tilts and the ball revolves on the platform.

How we built it

A wooden platform stages two servos with a universal ball joint, and a central mast.

Challenges I ran into

Coding the exact locations for the platform to tilt to, such that the ball performs a desired pattern. Finding the correct materials to construct our project.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

The platform is constructed, looks professional, and tilts how we want it to.

What I learned

I learned about the interaction between mechanics and electronics.

What's next for Blate and Pall

Why only rotate in a circle when you could rotate in a triangle?
