About the Project

Inspiration 🚀

The Black Gold World project was inspired by the transformation of the global energy sector. We observed that both in real life and in the digital world, energy resources – especially oil and alternative sources – carry immense value. We wanted to create a space where players can experience the energy economy virtually, while having fun and learning at the same time.

How we built it 🔨

We developed the project as a React-based game prototype. Core features include:

• Sign-up and login panel – players can create personal accounts.
  
• OilC → BGC conversion system – 10,000 OilC = 1 BGC.
  
• Game modules – oil drilling, resource collection, leveling, and rewards.
  
• Ecology-focused elements – solar panels, green energy, and environmental awareness.
  
• User panel – section to send collected BGC coins to the Black Gold platform.
  

What we learned 📚

• How tokenomics works in Web3 games.
  
• Rapid prototyping of games with React.
  
• Integrating ecological balance into game mechanics.
  

Challenges ⚡

• Balancing the token system and game mechanics in a short timeframe.
  
• Aligning the visual design with the game’s story.
  
• Overcoming deployment issues between Netlify and prototype environments.
  

Outcome 🌍

Black Gold World is more than just a game – it is a metaverse prototype bringing energy resources into the gaming world while amplifying ecological messages.
Our next steps include expanding to multiplayer mode, integrating NFT-based assets, and building partnerships with real-world platforms.
