Our goal was to achieve Mr. Karlsefni's goal of making 300% returns on a $2,000,000 investment in a 10 year period. Our strategy caters to our client's interests while keeping up with market data.

Inspiration

We were inspired by our goals to pursue interests in this industry in the near future. With college coming soon and our work-life following, we were inspired to kickstart our work in this space and learn new things.

What it does

Our plan meets the parameters given to us by our client. This portfolio effectively satisfies the customer while exceeding his goals.

How we built it

We built this portfolio by conducting market research, doing technical analysis, referring to reputable sources, and using our own knowledge and opinions regarding how our world will shift in the future and which investments will be considered most valuable. We invested in fundamentally sound companies with a bright outlook regarding the future and how they will pioneer their respective industries. We made sure to diversify our portfolio and structure it so that it had aggressive aspects for high gains while still maintaining a steady base to grow upon. We picked from various ETFs, individual stocks, long-term bonds, and REITs.

Challenges we ran into

There were times where it was challenging to narrow down which Index funds, REITs, ETFs, or other stocks which we would invest in. With comparable market data and predictions regarding the future, we were able to make confident decisions that we stand by.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud of our projected portfolio value in the 10-year period. We are not only proud that we exceeded the desired profits but also that we were able to do so while selecting investments which our client would be interested in. We are proud of our ability to create a diversified portfolio that focuses on a certain area while projecting high returns.

What we learned

We learned the importance of diversification, catering to the needs of a client, and decisiveness regarding picking investments for a client. It was important to keep in mind that we were working for somebody else and that we needed to keep their areas of interest in mind. This taught us to focus on new areas and learning to analyze and compare the companies in interest.

What's next for Bjørn Karlsefni's Investment Portfolio

As our client plans to launch a startup, this in itself is a major investment and we recommend that he continues to build upon his current portfolio by further expanding his investments and exploring new areas. He has been given a strong base to build upon and we recommend that he focuses on mostly safe index funds or other investments which are targeted towards slower growth. If he is still looking for high returns we may recommend him to explore new areas such as crypto or NFT's.
