Inspiration

Companies release annual reports to show consumers how they are doing. These reports tend to contain more information than the consumer is looking for, however. We sought to change this problem.

What it does

By creating new consumer reports within the application, consumers are then able to view a company's risk factors, expenses, income, profit, and current officers to be more informed on the company of interest's performance yearly

How we built it

We used android studio to develop the android application using Java, XML, and SQLite for the application. We also used business knowledge and insights on the consumer experience to design the application for the best user experience

Challenges we ran into

The database and the diffrent UI views had trouble communicating. Turns out a line of code was left out

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Creating a product that would change the way consumers interact with companies in the market

What we learned

Leaving out a line of code is very bad

What's next for BizReport

With proper funding and time, we believe BizReport could be released as an actual product for companies to use
