Inspiration

Small businesses handle many repetitive tasks manually. We wanted to build an AI-powered co-pilot that makes daily business operations simpler and smarter.

What it does

BizPilot AI helps businesses manage business information, reservations, and operational tasks through APIs and an AI agent, with logs and metrics for monitoring.

How we built it

We built the backend using Python and FastAPI, integrated AI-agent functionality, created REST APIs, and deployed the application on Render with Swagger/OpenAPI documentation.

Challenges we ran into

We faced challenges with API validation, connecting different business operations, debugging errors, and deploying the backend successfully to the cloud.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We successfully built and deployed a working AI-powered backend with multiple business operations and a publicly accessible API.

What we learned

We learned about AI agents, FastAPI, REST APIs, cloud deployment, error handling, and building AI solutions around real business needs.

What's next for BizPilot AI

We plan to add more specialized AI agents for marketing, customer support, scheduling, inventory, and business analytics, turning BizPilot into a complete AI-powered business assistant.
