Inspiration

Being raised in the great city of Brampton, we were highly motivated to create a mobile directory for our hometown.

What it does

Our phenomenal application connects consumers to local businesses within the Brampton region.

How we built it

We developed this tool using Android Studio and the OpenData API.

Challenges we ran into

The most difficult step in our journey was determining how to approach this task.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Before Bonfire, we had never attempted a 24-hour hackathon. Therefore, we are extremely proud to develop this application within this short period of time.

What we learned

For some of our members, this was their very first encounter with Android Studio and mobile development. Therefore, this was an exceptional learning opportunity for them.
